About book The Love Trials 3 (2000)

**Spoiler Alert**In order to give you an honest review, I must reveal some spoilers, sorry. I will try my best to not ruin the read for you completely if you decide to get this book.Narrator review: Marami Hung has delivered another great performance in the final chapter of this short series. She truly captures the heart of Nancy, and malevolence of Jaxon in her tones and expressions. I love her, she awesome, and gets 5 stars from me!This was the third and last installment of The Love Trials novella's. I was so expecting a big knock out fight, break up, something!! In the second book, Nancy finds out Jaxon's secret, and their was a murder! But Nancy didn't really find out the true secret, just the one Jaxon made up to keep her under his thumb. The relationship between Jaxon and Nancy finally go to the next level, in book 2, with them doing the nasty. As we enter book 3, Jaxon moves to the next phase of his "secret" plan, which the reader is clued in on, but never poor Nancy. She NEVER finds out the truth! The murder of a friend, so she thinks, and the plot against Jaxon she thinks her father has on him just goes over Nancy's head, as she delves deeper into her affections for Jaxon. And the ending, WTF?! The story doesn't makes sense, nor does it give you a sense of completion! This book had so much potential to go out in a bang, and left me flat. The build up to finding out Jaxon's secret, and how the situation would go down between Nancy and Jaxon, once Nancy found out the truth was awesome, but then the delivery fell short. Are we really suppose to believe that Nancy is SO gullable that she would put up with Jaxon's shit, or just forget the conversations she overheard between the other students and staff?? Well it seems so, because Nancy never investigates it, nor does she confront anyone about it, but yet it has her questioning reality and upset?!In light of this, even though the first two books were very good, I don't think I could recommend this last book to anyone...unfortunately. What would you do for love, For love I'd walk to hell and back. That's what Jaxon thinks just before he walks out of Nancy's life. Things at the lovers academy are quite complicated to say the least. After finishing this book I was delighted to find that JS Cooper has decided to do one more book to tie up loose ends with this book. Thank goodness because I still had questions. Great series, full of twist and turns.
