I am New to the Zane and Lucky party. I have read many books but the talented J.S. Cooper, but hadn't red these. Then I read Guarding His Heart by J.S. Cooper and loved it. It is about Leo Maxwell, who we meet in the Forever Love series, so I said I should read these. So I of course I did it in a backwards sort of way, I read Before Lucky first, which if you do that don't think you've ruined anything because you won't. The Last Boyfriend, Lucky Morgan is tired of losing in love and makes this list of who her next, or last boyfriend will be. Zane Beaumont is this player who keeps coming to the restaurant she works at every week with a different woman. He's good looking but is the type of guy she needs to avoid. When her car breaks down after a party, who should come to her rescue but Zane. Zane is interested in Lucky and wants to take her away, but she is unsure if she should go. Also Zane is busy trying to find out what happened to his brother the night he died. With everything going on will Zane prove to be her Last Boyfriend. The Last Husband, Zane and Lucky are now a couple, but the past still keeps coming upon them. Zane still has issues with his brother's death and Mother's abandonment when he was a child. Can they overcome there pasts to be together now and forever. Before Lucky is told from Zane's perspective of when the met and when he first saw her, trying to dance salsa with another waitress in the restaurant. I really loved seeing into his mind and his feelings. A great bonus to the series. This is a great love series and true romantic will enjoy Read them all. In fact I have read every book she has written and just loved them. Lucky & Zane story is great. It'll have you yelling at him, and laughing at some of his mistakes. Their relationship blooms so nicely. Now that I've learned more about Noah all I can say is WOW. Now with Leo twists and turns. These are books you can't put down, and you are counting down the days for the next release to see what happens.
