Could have been better. What a jumbled mess of lies and assumptions, where to start.. so many things were thrown into this book it had a real chaotic feel to it.My main problems were firstly Brandon's age, I constantly had to remind myself that he wasn't a eighteen year old boy and that he was actually a forty-two year old man..seriously forty-two talk about immature. The engagement, on what level did that ever make sense to anyone. The big surprise was only a surprise to someone who hadn't read the last book.Seven years...I mean seriously seven years.I just can't get my head round this book, it's just...you can't just throw loads of stuff in there and hope some of it sticks or makes sense and I'm seriously concerned about 'One Night Stand' what am I talking about? I read and loved 'One Night' and I just couldn't wait until January 5th for the full book 'One Night Stand' so I started looking into this author's other books, I tried 'Private Club' but that was, in my opinion trying to do too much, so much was thrown into a short book and I couldn't get along with Meg, it just didn't work but I'm starting to see a trend here and I'm suspecting that 'Stand' will be like this book. I haven't read enough of this author's books to know if she only has 'one story' but it seems to me, with the exception of 'Private' of course, the first book is good and pulls the reader in with the promise of a great read but in order to deliver on the promises loads of stuff is thrown in there to make it interesting and complex! Maybe I'm being unfair, time will tell. PLEASE BE ADVICE IF YOU HAVEN'T YET READ THE BOOK THEN DO NOT READ THIS REVIEW! okay I want to start by saying this is the most dysfunctional couple I've ever read, Brandon is the biggest dickhead I've ever came across like really this story is messed up in so much ways I don't know where to begin, it's surreal I was still hanging on to hope on the 1st and 2nd series then I went to the third installment and everything was downhill from that point my potential dream to like this book was crushed it was like reading a book backward it was a dysfunctional mess, it has no human logic to describe this great catastrophe this book for my part shouldn't exist, as for Katie Raymond she needs a serious intervention like she has issues I get that you're so in love that you can't think straight but knock me over I don't think any can get more stupid than Katie Raymond i mean GROW SOME BALLS WOMAN! BTW I have given this last installment 2.5 stars cause it was too rushed wasn't detailed enough a matter of fact nothing adds up. I'm done with this review cause I could go on and on about those two idiots but I think I've made my feelings clear about this book >:/
Do You like book The Ex Games 3 (2000)?
Another wonderful installment of this story. I see there is a book 4 and my library doesn't carry it. But with that said, it seems like this book could totally be the end of this story so I'm not going to go too crazy over missing the last in the series. In this installment, Katie learns the biggest secret of all, the one Brandon has been keeping from her for the last 7 years. In return, we as the reader also learn that Katie was keeping a very big secret from him as well. These two have so much chemistry, but their relationship seems to be one that has them either having sex or fighting. There doesn't seem to be an in between. Will it ever change? Will these two ever get together and stay together? Read the books! You can literally sit down with all three and be done in a couple of hours so it's definitely worth it!

The many secrets that Brandon and Katie have been holding on to are finally revealed. It was really good to get Brandon's POV to better understand his actions and intentions toward Katie. Brandon can be impatient, possessive, and jealous; he definitely crosses a line and I wasn't expecting that. A lot of things from the past are finally explained and both of them have made plenty of mistakes. But damn...Brandon also gave Katie something she needed but never expected to have and I have to love him for that. This has been an interesting series with plenty of chemistry. Katie and Brandon had a connection that neither could fully walk away from despite their time apart.
