Can't say how much I love this series!I read this 6 book series this past week,and it really took me by surprise. It was one hell of an emotional roller coaster ride.It made me cry, laugh, smile. I got mad. But I very much enjoyed it.The 6 stories deal with a number of issues, finding love, letting go, dealing with the aftermath of war, etc-I loved the story of the two characters, the side characters, and everything in between.And what is so beautiful about this relationship is that they fight for it. This relationship wasn’t easy but they sure as heck were in love enough to ride out the rough waves. The whole idea of "If you love something, let it go. If it's meant to be, it will come back to you," is at play here.So, quick and easy read. I am glad to have found and I am looking forward to more greatness from this author.Hope to read more about Elsie and Henry soon...4,5 stars. Umm this was just okay for me. The only reason I finished reading it was because my husband is Security Forces also, so I found it fun to read. I don't know why people were saying you needed tissues, I'm questioning myself wondering if I'm just heartless... Who knows. Well like I said it was okay, had a happy ending. It won't be one of those books that I frantically flip through my kindle for because it just popped in my head and I have to read it again pronto, but its not so bad that I'm pissed that I wasted money on it and I want the 3 hours of my life back that I spent reading it.
