I received this book via Goodreads' Don't Buy My Love program in exchange for an honest review.Tooth is a closeted gay man serving as VP of the Coffin Nails Motorcycle club (biker gang) in Michigan. He joined the gang 12 years ago hoping they could help him find the organ-snatching murderers of his boyfriend Tracy. He's out on a raid of a local strip club, looking for a stripper/drug seller who's skipped out without paying for her product when he encounters a male stripper--who happens to be the missing bastard son of Priest the Pres of Coffin Nails. Turns out 19 y/o Lucifer, Luci to his friends, is a gay stripper/prostitute and essentially homeless ever since his mom killed herself three years ago. Reunited with Priest, Luci finds himself on the back of Tooth's hog, and more than a little turned on by the burly, gruff man who shows him unexpected kindness and courtesy.Over the course of the book, Luci connects with his half-brother and sister, and deals with a lot of demons, including a pedophilic former-teacher. He and Tooth build a strong bond, being frustrated roomies for months before they connect romantically. It's a nice love story, with the occasional murder, and some organ-snatching mayhem thrown in.I had some issues with the language--it's clear the authors aren't American English speakers. Paracetamol? Nope--won't find that in Michigan. But, you will find acetominophen, also called TYLENOL. Lots of Brit speech and manner (cannot even fathom an American biker, even a gay one, who tells his lover he has a 'lovely prick') sprinkled within kept me just enough off base to grate on me. I'd also encourage them to be more diligent with the research--a person with O Negative blood is actually NOT very rare, it's the second most common blood type worldwide and these persons are also known as "universal donors" as their blood can be given to any recipient. These issues might not bother 90% of readers, but they got to me after awhile. I'm also trying to figure out where the snow exists in this locale. It seemed as if winter was around, and when winter exists it snows in Michigan. Even bikers put their bikes away in winter--I know. I live 40 minutes from the Michigan border, and three hours from Detroit. I received this book for free from the author for an honest review.From the beginning of this book, I had trouble putting it down. I was instantly involved in the story even though I haven’t read the first in this series; this story is written to be a stand-alone.Tooth, hardcore biker complete with long hair and a scraggly beard, takes care of dirty business for the Coffin Nails MC and hold the position of VP. Luci, male hooker with a battered past, finds himself in the hands of the MC for questioning and ends up living at their compound for protection after his father (the president) decides it’s for the best.Going into the book, I knew the story was going to be about Luci finding himself as something other than a prostitute with Tooth’s help, but I was really surprised how much Luci brought out of Tooth. Until Tooth came out to Luci, it wasn’t obvious how much he held in and back from the other member of the club. For being a duo author I’ve never read anything from before, I will be looking into more from these ladies in the future. My only problem with having read this book is that there is only one other book out from the series and now I have to wait.
