I was interested in seeing how authors are portraying gay and lesbian erotic romances and I found this one to be mildly amusing and entertaining, but too short and without any real sense of honest relationship. The description 'cinderfella' tends to sum it up. The fairy tale is about the downtrodden rising above their station and in many ways, this one does that. I think Mike should have been thought out more, actually give him a dream and a vision, instead of making him seem crass and vulgar one minute and polished and suave the next. James was better written of the two characters I think. The story had its good moments but I found it difficult to connect to a pair of characters who are both insecure, self-centered bullies. The majority of the story revolves around making others jealous and/or getting revenge. I have trouble believing these characters will really manage a happy ending since great sex and shared enemies is not really enough to keep a relationship going. Still, it was a cute short tale with some steamy scenes and lots of satisfaction for anyone who had a rough high school experience.
Do You like book Mr. Jaguar (2014)?
The ending was a tad fairy tale like but the plot of the story I could see happening in real life
