3.5/5Strangely I had a hard time getting in the book. And because of that I wanted to give it only 3/5 but it became really better in the second part. We got a good character development and the relationship between Alec and Dylan, but also Alec and Tyler became really interesting. I really liked the fact that the author raised a lot of questions and answered them all. We got a deeper view of what being Alec was and I felt really grateful for that, because this character could have been really cliché and it turned out he had gone through quite a lot of hard times too. In the end, it was an easy reading (and the author improved his writing style through the book thankfully) and I will probably read the second one! This time River Jaymes' story did not hit the spot for me. This could be the tale of Alequina and Dilany and not about two gay men.Once again, a feminine writer trys to transform a relationship between a gay son and his mother in the kind of silly feminine discussion that it never is.Alec's relation with his ex-boyfriend is also incongruent.I'm sorry to be so blunt, but I can't say I liked this book.
Good characters, good writing, I enjoyed it
