La mia prima esperienza di M/M, letto perchè ne ho sentito parlare talmente bene che mi ha incuriosita parecchio. Mi è piaciuto, nonostante qualche clichè, ma non manca di originalità, la scrittura è scorrevole ed è facile entrare in contatto con i personaggi. Verso la fine ero talmente presa che ero li con gli occhi sgranati che pensavo "Dylan come puoi fare questo?!" oppure "Alec ti prego prendilo a schiaffi, ORA!" e robe così perciò 3 stelline e mezzo, 4 se si fosse approfondito di più quei temi molto seri che vengono solo accennati. Plauso a Noha che, non è solo un fantastico personaggio secondario, ma che riesce a ritagliarsi un posto speciale a suon di ironia e manie di protagonismo per tutta la durata della storia! This was an EXCELLENT gay for you novel. I sometimes struggle with the trope, but River Jaymes navigated it with a deft hand. It wasn't so much an exploration of labels as it was a discovery that sometimes labels aren't what are going to help the situation. In fact, sometimes they can even work against people. This deviates from what I typically read (and write), but it worked so well. It was well rounded emotionally, sexy, and just outright fun to read. I'm looking forward to picking up the second novel in this series!
