Another one of those books that I can appreciate the thought behind of but feel it just didn't translate too well when put into words. I think this is one of the author's earliest works so that might explain (at least) part of it.The concept is nothing new: newly risen star actor and regular Joe meet, get hot and heavy, and then there's drama. I felt I didn't get enough information about neither main character to actually form an opinion about them, they were very bland, as were all the side characters. Everything that happened was very neatly wrapped up; no side tracks, just take the easiest way through. The sex was the best part of the story, and for a recently short book there was quite a lot of it.Overall a nice read though it definitely didn't live up to my expectations. This is a 3.5 star read that I have bumped up to 4 stars. The characters are nice, the smex is hot...the thing that 'spoilt' the story for me is that the scenario is so very unlikely and unbelievable...so much so that there were massive plot holes that common sense made difficult to ignore...I've read the book multiple times now because I enjoy the characters as a couple but don't read this book expecting a well-crafted plot or you will potentially be disappointed...this is essentially a bit of fluff that had delusions of grandeur...
Do You like book Tabloid Star (2009)?
Nice story, nice characters, the writings good but it's not among my favorites from the author.
