This is the fouth book of the series. This is a great story .. This one is about Peter and Chaz. Peter finds Chaz in an alley. Chaz is having issues with his health and Peter tries to help him. They start a relationship. Tragedy strikes and Chaz finally has to confront his life and take time to overcome what entails to be a out. Les intervines and helps Chaz. Love is what kept them fighting for much needed happiness. I really didnt know what to make of this book. The theme of drug-abuse was really intense and realistic so the author did a great job on that. Having said that, for 75% of the book I didnt like Chaz and I felt awful for not liking him. I understood the reasons for his use of drugs and sympathized with him, but I did not want him to be in a relationship with Peter. I just didnt buy that Chaz loved Peter, when he was clearly more in love with the drugs and his job. *Sigh* This book made me feel bad for being so harsh on Chaz and I feel horrible about myself after reading it. After the accident all I could think of was "well of course that had to happen, otherwise where would the story go...."But I love this series and I am even more in love with Les Harding than I was before. Cant wait to read Juan and Yancey's story.
