If the author was trying to make the MC a snobby bitch, she succeeded. I couldn't stand the girl, and the way she treated her mother. I get she was mad...but c'mon now.The Author did a very good job at making Alex like-able, I even felt betrayed. I really liked him. What Alex did was something I had always feared.I honestly don't know what Jesse saw in this girl, and why he cared for her.It was worth reading to pass the time, but it wasn't anything great. While it was very predictable and the main character was often snobby and self centered, I found that this book made me think. It made me look back on my relationship with my mother when I was a teenager. It made me think about my relationship with my own daughters. It made me terrified for their teen years too. But mostly it made me appreciate the values I was taught and try to instill in my own children.
Do You like book Last Train Home (2000)?
