It was nice to get the whole story between Donnie and Alejandro...their names popped up several times while I was reading the "Johnnie" series...but you never really got to see how they "happened"!!! This was a very cute story with a surprisingly well developed story line for such a short piece!!! I am very glad that a friend pointed me in the direction of this story...as I had no clue it was a tie-in with the "Johnnie" series!!! As always...Amy Lane has given us an entertaining story...with a few home truths thrown in...just to keep us on our toes!!! I really enjoyed this look into how Donnie and Alejandro got together. I read this after Chase in Shadow (where these two are already together), so it was nice to see them again. Donnie is cute and young, and I could totally picture him on Alejandro's bed. I wish we had learned a little bit more about Alejandro. We catch tidbits of him being a big sexy guy, but I would have like to have seen him in action.
I love Donnie... such a sweet book compared to the drama of the other Johnnies books!
