I couldn’t stop reading this! I loved Mackey from the start, his feisty attitude and his driven nature. He elevates his friends and his band and his life. So much angst and I cried at times. Mackey’s road is not easy, but he is helped when he lets Travis in. Travis is the older, former military guy who can’t help but be drawn to Mackey. The story didn’t always go the way I expected, and I liked that. I absolutely loved the 2ndary characters, the brothers, the adopted brothers and the women. Such a great story about love and family and people willing and able to change. I just finished this book and I can't even do it any justice with my words how incredible it was!!! Throughout this book I felt so many emotions from joy to disappointment, anger, happiness, sadness and depressed but it was all well worth the ride getting to the end. This whole book had so many emotions but that's what made this such an exceptional book!!! WELL WELL WORTH THE READ!! This is one of my favorite books, thank you Amy Lane. :-)
