Soy del pensamiento que las casualidades no existen y que los acontecimientos que llenan nuestras vidas son por algún motivo, y que por ello hoy estamos donde estamos haciendo lo que hacemos y con los compañeros de vida que tenemos, y esto es lo que sucede en este libro, la existencia se ha confabulado para que Kat y Gabe acaben juntos... de una u otra manera, sus vidas acaban cruzándose hasta que admiten y aceptan sus sentimientos para el otro.Kat me ha parecido un personaje con las ideas muy claras, con una educación recibida en su infancia algo especial que ha hecho que hoy sea la mujer que es. Luchadora, fuerte, consecuente con sus ideales... Gabe, golpeado por el amor y la amistad en el pasado no cree en compromisos ni relaciones, pero siente un instinto de protección hacia Kat que lo tiene mareado... porque además no hace más que encontrarse en situaciones en las que tiene que protegerla y salvarla.La historia de investigación no es tan "fuerte" como en los anteriores libros, pero si es interesante igualmente aunque toque temas más "ligeros". Me ha sorprendido quién era el "malo" porque en ningún momento sospeché de él...El desenlace me ha "golpeado" brutalmente hasta el punto de hacerme llorar, por la situación, por la intensidad y por la aceptación de los cambios por parte de Gabe.Una historia de amor bonita donde las haya, con dificultades como todas las historias de Pamela Clare, pero muy bella. Que mas puedo decir de esta serie que no haya dicho ya???? No se...realmente es buenisima, genial, me encanta, sin duda una de mis favoritas!!!En este libro en particuar conocemos la historia de Kat, un nativa americana y periodista del I team y a Gabe, un ranger de las montañas de Colorado, ellos se conocen gracias a un accidente que tiene Kat y a partir de ahi se cruzan por distintas situaciones que los llevan a relacionarse de una forma que ninguno de ellos esperaba (en un principio, jijij). Tengo que decir que este libro me resulto bastante diferente que los anteriores y en un principio como que me costo engancharme, pero una vez que arranque no pare mas, es una muy buena historia, diferente, que habla sobre las raices, el amor a la tierra, las distintas cultura, y como siempre hay suspenso, mucha accion, romance, amor, sexo, personajes geniales, en fin, tiene todo lo que tiene que tener. Los capítulos finales son tremendos, pase por todas las emociones mientras los iba leyendo.Y como me paso con todos los libros anteriores el Epílogo me encantooooooo, es divino, todos los epílogos de esta serie son geniales!!!En fin, Pamela Clare, soy tu fan!!!!!
Do You like book Sombras De Sospecha (2012)?
3.5 Stars.This was an excellent read and very enjoyable. As always, Pamela's books are very vivid and exciting to read. I loved the story, however I enjoyed "Hard Evidence" and "Unlawful Contact" much more only because I'm not much of an "outdoorsy" fan. This book describes a lot of activities like climbing, skiing and other activities. There's also a lot of Navajo facts and Indian heritage that I learned lots about and it was interesting. Different, but interesting. I do recommend this book as the ending catches you by surprises but in all is a wonderful love story.My favorite by Clare is still "Hard Evidence" after reading this one.I enjoyed this one quite a bit, though :) Definitely recommend! Especially if you like climbing and outdoor activities.

When a Tribal Elder is murdered and Kat becomes the target of a killer, Gabe will do anything to keep her safe from the people who want to keep Native Americans off of their sacred land.I totally loved Kat & Gabe and thought they were a great couple. The mystery story was interesting, but it was the romance that kept be glued. The only drawback for me was there was a little too much Native American lure for me. My rating: 4.5 Stars.
