My rating: 4 Stars. 5 stars. What a great, fun, and sexy prequel. I loved this little taste of Laura and Javier. Hot, hot, and hot. By the end of this short story I'm so excited but also nervous to read Striking Distance. The ending scene with Javier watching the TV as Laura is kidnapped, my heart just broke and then he thinks she's dead. Obviously with SD she has to be alive (or that would be a completely different book than what I'm looking for) but I know I'm in for some painful times with Laura because SD picks up a year and a half later and she's been there all that time.
