Going into this book I wasn't expecting your typical love story. I was looking for more than just another brainless read. To say this book left me in a weird space is an understatement. Not weird bad, but weird good. It is not a love story, and it doesn't offer a perfect cliché ending. What is does offer is a completely different perspective on loving someone in the only ways you can. The writing was well executed, and the story line wasn't predictable. It was Raw but it was real. Whoa. I like Tarryn Fisher and her Love Me With Lies series, but did not like this book at all. It was both angsty and draggy as hell. I did NOT understand any of that angst, especially coming from Senna. She was angsty even before that tragic jogging incident, so let's not get our panties in a twist here. Why is she so goddamn UNHAPPY? I really can't stand her and she's given us no reason for her dead weight drama crap. She's exhausting, it's no wonder she doesn't end up with the love of her life and soulmate. Other than Brenna/Senna being one of the most UNLIKEABLE book characters I've ever met, this book was boring as fuck. Read it in one sitting, which is pretty quick even for me, because I got SO BORED I had to skim through the pages.
