Dani jumping in his car after running from the altar, begging him to drive, shakes things up. He took her to the Barnes-Fleetwood ranch where he'll take a much-needed vacation.The first time between Julian and Dani was powerful and it wasn't even sex - they made love. It was an exhilarating experience for her and this leaves Julian more confused and the defense mechanism is to feign indifference. This leaves Dani hurt, and it's doubled when she finally discovers that Finn is bi-sexual. I liked how possessive Finn was of Dani. Both of them are submissive.I liked how emotional Finn and Dani's lovemaking was and how Julian was the one who let them be. The suspenseful angle got me on my toes and it was brilliantly written. Sex was awesome as usual and the character development was dramatic - Julian most of all. I'll definitely read more of her works. I had some reservations about reading the third book in this series. Julian just seemed like such a control freak and so uptight in the other stories. In this story he is all that and then some and could be such a alphole that at times I wanted to slap him. As I read though, I found out the reason why he is the way he is and just wanted to cry for him. Dani was kinda a doormat but she was also sweet, loving and kind and she was just what Julian needed even though he didn't want to admit it. Finn turned out to be the perfect man bits Julian needed too even though Finn originally only loved Dani. The three of them had to overcome a lot of baggage and deal with a killer bent on revenge.I really liked this book and am now looking forward to the next story. Could it be about Lexi, Lucas and ?
