These books seriously just keep on getting better and better. Every sentence, every page just keeps getting better!!On a plot point, the story was marred with tragedy in the loss of some crucial characters in this book. But I have to say... Whilst Maisie's death was very sad, when it appeared that Giguhl had died... I was in tears and saying no, no, no over and over.But he survived this one... We willSee if he survives the final quest! This book is about a girl named Sabina Kane. She has been treated like an outcast all her life because of her mixed blood. But now she is reunited with her long lost twin sister, and dating a hot mage named Adam Lazarus. Her grandmother is still alive and wreaking havoc in her life. She has kidnapped her sister as an act of getting back at Sabina. She starves her of blood and Sabina had to watch as her sister fed from Adam. But now she is safe and her grandmother is dead. Her sister Maisie Graecus was not the same afterwards. But when Sabina finally realized something was wrong, it was too late. I love this book and all of them because I like fiction and action books. I read twilight but this book is a million times better. “I ran into the bedroom and shut the door behind me. Then I let the tears fall.” This quote stood out to me because I felt like that once, but I got over it and so did she.
