What a ride. I enjoyed how the story turned out, but once again G took over, distracting and taking away from Sabina's story. He felt like comic relief that fell flat. Especially after everything Sabina went through to defeat Cain. The fact that her father has been alive this entire time and just his general attitude pissed me off. I really disliked him the entire time he was on screen and his eventual death only made me feel for Nyx and Sabina.The entire demon meet the parents thing just seemed silly after all the death. I really enjoyed the world building and mysteries but could have done with less forced comedy. It's disappointing how this last installment suck so bad. I should've trusted my hunch when I said that I better stop at book three. To sum it all, this book was about cliche. More and more cliche. Sad. Really sad.For start, I don't believe in a happy ending for everybody. I just don't. That's not gonna happen. Yet, this book covered it all. The cliche and happy ending, I mean.The truth revealed about Sabina didn't really help either. Well, the story progressed but not the enjoyment. The pace was well kept from the beginning. But I really, really, really hate the ending. It's like one happy carousel for everyone. I really wish one of her best friends died, Maybe Adam, or maybe even herself. Not pushing her to become a martyr or some sort. It's just... I think there's a better, and more realistic end than the one already published. :x
