At the moment I'm only about two thirds of the way through the book. I've read enough to know that it deserves five stars in my opinion. Connor Lindsey needs to forge an alliance with the Chattans and was suppose to do this by marrying the eldest daughter of the clan laird. However an act of dishonor on her part ruins his plans. So he abducts Brina the youngest daughter in hopes that she will agree to be his wife and the mistress of Birch Stone his family castle. Little does he know that Brina has never been prepared for marriage but instead to enter the church. He also doesn't know that Brina can shoot a bow, wield a sword and ride as well as any Highland man. Heaven help Connor Lindsey. Brina Chattan, as a third daughter, was raised to become a nun. When her older sister falls from grace, the sister's intended groom kidnaps Brina for himself. Brina finds that her life will not be the one that she was prepared for.My only complaint is that the first few chapters of the book unnecessarily listed the Highlander characteristics that are typical in a Highlander romance (honor, watching after their women, fighting, being strong and stubborn, etc.). It was tedious for me.Otherwise, I enjoyed this book and would love to read more from the author. There was just enough chemistry and emotion and the book left me with a goofy grin on my face. =)
Do You like book Seninle Ya Da Sensiz (2010)?
Quick fun read that had me either smiling, laughing, and/or rooting on the main characters.
