I'm not quite done with the book but am unimpressed so far. I am tired of hearing how handsome the hero appears to the heroine. I am tired of him being a jerk to her(of course he is much nicer than her father) and her just giving in. Now I find myself skimming the sex scenes because there is not enough plot!Done with In the Warrior's Bed and had hoped for a big finish to redeem the book but it was just okay. Bronwyn was a fantastic heroine for this story. Dealing with hardships her whole life because she was an unwanted daughter really shaped her into the kind of woman she became. I really thought that she would have turned out differently, such as being so meek to her husband but I was happy she didn't. As far as Cullen goes...his arrogant attitude really made me dislike him at certain points. It's obvious his whole revenge for shaming his pride was a ploy and I didn't like it. I thought he was an okay husband and at times I thought she deserved better. Overall the book was good. I really enjoyed the kidnapping/murder plots and I thought the author wrote great details!
Another thrilling Highland romance by an author whose work I enjoy more with every book.
