This one is about Taylor (vampire) & Victor (Wolf). Their relationship started in Crimson Debt (the first book in this series), and becomes the main story in this book. I wish there was more Corbin in it, but it was full of action & mystery. What started in book one comes to a head and is finished in this book. A few of the characters from book one are in this one.Victor finally takes Taylor home, but they both have secrets that could tear them apart or bring them closer. May not be as hot as book 1, but has more mystery/action. It leads you into book 3 about Gwendolyn (witch). OUTSTANDING!Another wonderful read from Evangeline Anderson. This novel is wonderfully descriptive with an intentional tug of the heart-strings that keeps the reader turning the pages. The involved and twisting plot involving vampires and werewolves is beautifully written to engage your feelings. The main lead Taylor is creatively written and the intricately woven relationship that forms between her and her reluctant werewolf groom, Victor, is phenomenal. A great read that links to ‘The Crimson Debt’ book one of the series, but is easily readable as a stand alone novel.
