I absolutely love these little side trip novellas that Thea Harrison is treating readers to. They are short, sweet and packed full of all kinds of feels. ;) Pia Saves the Day is definitely no exception.The description pretty much says it all, but honestly, you have to read it to get the full picture. Readers have seen Dragos vulnerable before, but not to this extent. Especially since he didn’t even realize it. Pia was beyond strong in Pia Saves the Day and there was just enough story here to set up some future scenarios.It’s honestly all I can do not so share some quotes here, but the ones that I want to share the most would give too much away. If you are a follower of this series and you’ve previously side-stepped the novellas, I’m giving you some friendly advice. Don’t skip this one. Besides the perspective that you get from Dragos and Pia, there’s also Peanut – who once again stole the show. Needless to say, Peanut Goes to School, the next novella in the Elder Races series, has just been moved way up on my TBR list. ;) Yea! I love that Thea Harrison continues to give us more of Pia, Dragos and Peanut. I'm not sure I can explain it but these characters are just fun for me to read. I like this paranormal world that Thea crafted which is just pure escapism for me. In this installment Pia has to really step up, she has always been incredibly strong (she stood up to a dragon) but now she has to be fearless to save her family and love after a construction accident. It was fun to watch Dragos and Pia find that love again but nerve wracking at the same time. Another hit!
