I thought this book was good BUT I wish it didn't revolve around so much romance. ): I like romance but not this much. I just can't believe she would ditch school with a boy she just met! I wish she didn't CHANGE so much in so little time too! She starts lying to her cousin, Cat about her and Austin "studying." She and Austin did barely any work or if any on their Modern Leadership project. She semi-dyes her hair, starts wearing "normal" clothing and starts acting like a normal 21 century teen. She went to a night-club with her friends and gets drunk (she's 16, and underage!)and starts acting really "mean" to some of the people there. I felt like she just stayed in the 21 century because of Austin and because she found out she was going to marry someone, she was childless, and her dad becomes ill. She leaves her family and doesn't tell them except in a letter. At the end of the story, I wished she went back to her own century and somehow met "Austin" there as well. I don't like Austin! This author did a great job writing the story but I just didn't like the middle plot (I did like the beginning of the plot), ending part or how it turned out! I happen to meet miss Rachel Harris at a book signing and picked this one up. What I love is that even though I hadn't read the first one, I didn't feel completely lost picking this one up. I probably will go back now and read the first book in the series though, because I liked this one so much. It's a really cute YA flirty, time-traveling romance. I love the interactions with Less and Austin. What I loved most was seeing what someone from the 16th century may think about things in the future. It was cute to watch her struggle with showing off her ankles or elbows :). I loved the relationship between Cat and Alessandra, as well as watching Less change throughout the story. I also loved watching her bring out the best in Austin (who doesn't love a little reformed bad boy?!). Very cute!
