I really enjoyed this book, I couldn't put the book down because I really wanted to know what was going to happen with her life when she got back home to everyone thinking she was dead after that earthquake in Africa. I enjoyed the characters, but the dreams kind of threw me off because I wasn't sure why it was written there in the first place, with her mom in them. But other than that it was pretty great. This book raised an interesting question: if you had the chance to start over, would you? The main character, Emma, has a chance to change the course of her life and (in my opinion) ultimately doesn't. I was disappointed at first but then again, there was a reason she chose the path she did before her six-month trip to Africa. Emma genuinely enjoys her job and where she lives but I would have liked to see more change. The purpose of a book is to make you think and this book did not accomplish that. However, it was still an enjoyable finish-in-an-afternoon story and I will definitely read more books by Catherine McKenzie (but only when I'm looking for a light, easy read).
Do You like book Oubliée (2014)?
I liked it. The ending was a little too abrupt for me. I could have used a couple more chapters.

Interesting premise but it fell flat and turned into your typical chick lit story pretty quickly.

Mě tak štve, že jsem to nestihla dočíst. Prostě se k tomu někdy ještě vrátím :)
