Now I think I may have read works from this author, but I don't remember which ones, and when I saw this one and the blurb, I could hardly resist picking it up even though it I have had it for a few weeks now. Surrender of a Siren suprisingly kept me intrigued throughout the whole story, and I found myself enthralled by the characters and thoroghly charmed. I found myself almost falling in love just as these characters were, the details so vivid. En effet, le premier reste un roman d’anthologie où l’héroïne – une chipie- marque la mémoire (ainsi que les scènes d’amour – soupirs….).Bref, donc c’était un challenge de faire un deuxième tome.Dans celui-ci, on retrouve Sophia, l’amie de Lucie, qui décide de fuir l’Angleterre car elle a soif d’aventures et a une imagination débordante. Elle monte donc dans le bateau de Grey.Sophie est une héroïne gentille qui tombe amoureuse de cet ancien pirate, lui ne veut pas en entendre parler et se débat contre cette attirance. Rien de plus ordinaire, vous me direz pour cette collection. Bah oui, en effet, il est assez ordinaire mais est quand même efficace. On trouve des personnages secondaires intéressants et assez présents, un héros pas parfait et attirant, une héroïne qui est sympathique et des scènes d’amour qui restent dans la mémoire (moins que le tome 1 quand même).Bref, un roman qui se lit facilement et qui divertit bien.
