I really enjoyed this book. The romance in it was there but it wasn't overbearing and the humor from the other characters had me laughing. The "bad guy" (or one of them, rather) in it was a bit obvious once you got to a certain point but the writing was well done and it was easily overlooked. I started and finished this book in about 12hours (off and on). I would definitely recommend giving it a try. Lady Alexandra Chase has been in love with Tristan Nesbitt all her life but he was a commoner and so, not marriage material. Now Tristan has become Lord Hawkridge through a trick of fate and Alexandra is willing to break all the rules to marry him. But wait, he says he can't marry because scandal is attached to his name! What's a girl to do? Well, bake with the family recipe book, guaranteed to bring a man around. Not so easy to accomplish in fact. As Tristan works to help Alexandra's brother and his best friend with his vineyards, Alexandra works on bringing him up to snuff. An intriguing romance with many twists and turns.
Do You like book Lost In Temptation (2014)?
Might have been better in a novella, even that might have been too long.
