I'm certain I've read, rated and reviewed this one... somehow it's all gone!?Found my review on Leafmarks. Seemingly this tiny new platform happens to have less bugs than GR.------What a great read! Will and Scott, two detectives, are both deeply in the closet at work. Neither knows the other is gay. When they are send undercover after an apparent murder/suicide in Laurel Heights, an exclusive gay housing community they begin to panic. Will the two closeted officers be able to hide their attraction while each believing the other is straight? And is there a killer waiting to claim his next victim?The banter between Will and Scott was fun, and giving the reader a good look at their inner thoughts worked well.The pacing was perfect in terms of relationship development and how and what happened when. The suspense was good as well. Lisa did a great job of not letting too early know who the killer was. It really could have been almost anyone! All in all it was an entertaining read and I'm looking forward to reading more stories from Lisa Worrall. 4-4.5*Will and Scott are detectives and both are gay, but in the closet....neither knowing it about the other. They are assigned to investigate a suspicious murder-suicide in a gay housing community. It's an awkward situation for them, both thinking the other is straight, playing a gay man. One of my favorite lines was:"I'm a gay man, pretending to be a straight man playing a gay man." The story was well-told and the pacing was just right. And when they finally admit the truth to each other......whew....holy hotness!As the mystery unfolds, the tension skyrockets, leading to a rather intriguing confrontation....and an epilogue that gave me shivers. I am anxiously awaiting LH2 to see how things unravel!
