Apart from all the "kinkyness" of this book, I actually really liked the story plot line. Her secret intrigued me and makes me want to continue the series. So many books were being released and being compared to the E. L. James trilogy I wasn't sure I wanted to read this. I'm glad I did. This has a dark past for both characters that catches up with them and includes SO many more supporting characters you begin to care about. As is the case with any book I enjoy, the character development is phenomenal and overrides the erotica storyline, in my opinion. Not that such a story line is left out. Never, at any point, did I feel the book was dragging. In fact, I finished without ever putting it down. An easy read with loveable characters!

I did finish the book... finally! This is like one of those book that you dread to read but you have to read to know the ending. I didnt like the story all that much, i like the beginning and the end of the story... the middle section not so much. For me there is nothing in the middle but only sex... no story. But the end of the book picques my interest so much that i have to buy the 2nd book. Overall this book is so-so. Sorry...
