But can she resist the Angel of Death that is sex on legs??The first in the Her Angel series, and what a start! a sexy, smoking hot tale, told only the way the Heaton does, and it grabs and doesnt let go! only short, 103 pages, a little over an hour reading (for me!) but a fabulous read all the same.I have added the next to my wish list, and look forward to seeing if this is a follow-on series, or a related one. in either case, i'll be palying catch up for a while, cos book 6 is out soon! This is a short, steamy tale about an angel of vengeance named Apollyon, who is summoned from Hell by a woman named Serenity, a witch who wishes revenge on her ex-boyfriend for having cheated on her. Although she is afraid of him at first, she cannot escape the incredible chemistry they share.The story moved well, although there wasn’t a whole lot of character development. I didn’t feel the conflict. The plot, as it was, was pretty weak—Apollyon doesn’t [i]really[/i] struggle between going back to Hell and staying with Serenity. Who would? I understand that this is a short story, but there still needs to be a full arc (etc.), and these elements were lacking. The chemistry between them, at times, also felt cheesy, but as a whole I enjoyed the story. Thus, three stars
