I enjoyed this book, and though the story was cute. I felt that Zach was endearingly awkward, and who hasn't been hot for their teacher a time or two? But the reading of book was awkward for me, there was something about the pacing that didn't entirely work for me. I think it was that I really wanted one the MC's to step up and get more proactive a LOT sooner than they did, because after awhile the elevator thing stared driving me crazy. But overall, a sweet and easy read. 2.5 I rounded up instead of down for the simple fact that, This book had the makings of a great story. It's got a great premise It starts off good in the beginning with shy rich guy looking for his Prince Charming. Then it just falls apart. There a disconnect and even though the MC's are likable the writing is not. It felt old fashioned, lots of metaphors. I set it aside for a couple days came back and well the ending was rushed over. I really wanted to like this book, but it was just ok a little too syrupy sweet with out the connection for this reader.
