I want to start of by saying,"This book is okay, but not as good as the other Big Nate books that I have read". This book didn't satisfy my reading skills. The settings for this book/story is at school, the art room, outside, and at home also. This book is person vs person, because he is always messing with the other characters in this story. He sometimes gets and trouble for it.Big Nate is also in trouble with his dad in this one too.The only reason I like the other book is because he gets in trouble with his teachers and there's alot of action.Books, and movies have this main thing called COMEDY, ACTION, and DRAMA. This book didn't really have them. Some parts of this book were funny through. This book is kind of funny. I mean it's not like I hate it. Let's be real, some books you hate, some books you love, and then there's some books you wouldn't at all like to read, and that's your thought about whether you like it or not.Anyways, as I was saying,I kind of liked it.My favorite part of this book is when it was Halloween. A bunch of kids say, "Trick or treat., Big Nate says," Uh whats up guys?" with a dumb look on his face. Then he says, "Wait, wait guys I'll be back and goes to his dad. His dad is given RANDOM stuff to Nate and he says, "Hang on guys HALLOWEEN TREATS coming up! Then he says,"Okay, who wants some bouillon cubes?" Then this kid says "Get the eggs Hughie". LOL,the most funniest part of the book.Hmmmm, I would have to give this book a 5, because it really wasn't that good and if you want to go to the library check it out be my guest. Bad job with this one Lincoln Pierce, Big Nate From the Top is more like Big Nate at the bottom!! Even though I didn't really enjoy this book like the last one I read a month ago, I hope you all do. Description: Nate is an eleven year old boy who is easy to relate to - he dislikes rules and wants to have fun! This graphic novel tells about his daily adventures.Reaction: Not a favourite of mine, but I can see that the humour and plot would appeal to many in the Grade 4-6 range. The clean drawings and simple text may be appealing to struggling readers. Recommended Level: IntermediateSubjects/Themes: school, graphic novel, growing upSeries Information: The first book in the Big Nate series.
Do You like book From The Top (2010)?
One part I really like is when Nate and his Dad went shopping and had to buy a gross pair of jeans.

I feel that the theme of the book is always intresting. It makes you keep on reading.
