SIGH. Melina Marchetta does it yet again! Her ability to throw you entirely into the world of lumatere and its beautiful and terrible inhabitants is unmatched! I could talk about this book forever because it has everything; the writing and language is clear and precise, the characters are multi-faceted and interesting, character development is fantastic .... I really could go on. To put it simply, Froi of the Exiles is a must read! I started this series quite a while ago. I really enjoyed book 1, but it was a complex story, not an easy read. I knew I wanted to continue on with the series, but I was a bit intimidated, knowing it would be a challenge. All the names, the different kingdoms, not being sure who is the good guy or the bad. All the characters are very human, even the heroes definitely have their issues and are not always likable. This was a compelling story, the ending was a bit of a cliff-hanger, so I am going right onto book 3. Parental Perspective: There is some sexual content in the book, nothing too descriptive (and not "romantic" for the most part). Some violence, no language :)
Do You like book Froi Del Exilio (2012)?
This series is SO good. That ending though!
