About book Frag Die Toten: Thriller (2013)

Having never read anything by Linwood Barclay it's fair to say I had no expectations when I picked this little book up. I would never have imagined that in just one day I would devour every last page and be desperate for more. The story revolves around Keisha Ceylon, a self-professed psychic who has visions of people in trouble. Or so she claims... The truth is she is nothing more than a con artist who seizes the opportunity to exploit the desperate families of missing people. Her latest victim is a man she has seen on TV begging for his wife to return. Keisha is unable to let such an opportunity pass by and so she pays him a visit. However, her so called "gift" quickly becomes a curse when her "vision" hits a little too close to the truth and what transpires next is a whirlwind of drama and deception that means no one is safe! This book, more a short story than a novel, is so gripping it is impossible to end a chapter and not want to continue. It is the perfect quick summer read and I now look forward to reading a lot more from Linwood Barclay!

Meh is all I can really say. Nowhere near as good as his other books.

Great fast paced read. Twists in such a way that it's almost comedic.
