About book Entre Dos Mundos (2014)

All I have to say is Dante. Freaking Dante. I thought he was going to be one thing and then the other thing just comes out of the blue. I liked this one a whole lot better than Crewel, except for the Eric thing. *spoilers*AD! OF COURSE JOST IS GOING TO LOVE HIS DAUGHTER MORE THAN YOU!! IT IS HIS DAUGHTER!!! The end was so surprising. Not the fact that she went back (saw it coming) but the fact that Amy went on the plane too. Awesome :) You know, I was 200% obsessed with the first 2/3 of this book. I still loved it by the end, but I kind of struggled getting through the last chunk due to some plot developments that didn't really sit right with me. **SPOILERS**I understand that the story is rooted on the fact that Arras was a means for the rich & powerful to escape WWII & start fresh. I get it. But did the scientist behind the Cypress Project HAVE to be an actual, historical scientist, much beloved by the world? Probably not. I'm certain have had zero major issues with the book had Albin written an entirely fictional scientist to fill this role. I'm not sure WHY it bothers me so much that "Kairos" turns out to be Albert freakin Einstein, but it made the whole end of the book just feel hokey to me. When an author tries to plop a historical figure into a fictional setting - unless the ENTIRE narrative is a fictional retelling of that person's life & adventures - I find it difficult to buy into. At the end of the day, however, I really did enjoy this book - although I could have done without the tired love triangle aspect - & I only hope Unraveled doesn't let me down. I hope this series can be everything I wished I had gotten out of Divergent. We'll know soon enough...

Do You like book Entre Dos Mundos (2014)?

I didn't like this book nearly as much as I liked the first. It lacked much of the excitement.
