About book Der Allzu Schlaue Fuchs: Ein Märchen Aus Rawka (2013)

"In Ravka, just because you avoid one trap, it doesn't mean you'll escape the next."This story, was wonderful! It was a great fable. Certainly easier to read than olden Aesop's fables. The moral of this story, to me, is: Being clever is a good trait, but you must be wise with your words. Your wit won't always let you win.I honestly think the ending wasn't the best. But, it is what it is. I really love all the little companion shorts out there! I do prefer when they actually INVOLVE the characters in the main series, but Leigh Bardugo's tales, much like JK Rowling's Tales of Beedle the Bard, are still a lot of fun. It's kind of amazing how authors who create epic fantasy worlds like Bardugo and Rowling go so far as to create fairy tales their characters follow. The Too-Clever Fox is mentioned and summarized in Siege and Storm, but it's not a major factor. This does seem like a giant allegory hinting that my dear Sturmhond will someday get his ass handed to him, however, so now I'm weary!

It was good. I really loved the darkness of the fairytale.

Again ... I'm liking the .5's better than the full novels.
