OMG!!!! I MUST SAY THAT I REALLY TRULY ENJOYED THIS BOOK!!!!!! JENNA BLACK ROCKS!!!!! NIKKI IS EMPLOYED BY ANDERSON WHO HAS HIS OWN GOD-LIKE IMMORTAL POWERS. WHILE WORKING ON A DIFFERENT CASE FOR ANDERSON, BODIES START TURNING UP. "WILD DOGS" ATTACKS ARE WHAT THE PAPERS ARE SAYING, BUT THE FUNNY THING IS THE BODIES OF MEN ARE BEING FOUND IN GRAVEYARDS. TORN SO BADLY THAT THEIR BODIES CAN NOT BE IDENTIFIED UNLESS, THEY ARE CARRYING ID CARDS ON THEM.NIKKI AND ANDERSON KNOW THAT THESE DEATHS ARE NOT CAUSED BY ANY " WILD DOGS". & SO NIKKI, ANDERSON, & ANDERSON'S OTHER EMPLOYEES MUST STOP THESE MURDERS BEFORE THE BODY COUNT RISES.FUN, EXCITING AND A HARD BOOK TO PUT DOWN!!!! PLEASE READ JENNA BLACK'S " DEADLY DESCENDANT", YOU WON'T BE SORRY THAT YOU DID!! The second book in the Nikki Glass series fulfilled the promise of continuing with a strong female lead. Jenna Black delivered an excellent and entertaining story, with a strong plot. My only complaint would be that I am a little exhausted with Nikki constantly second guessing herself and the motives of most of the Liberi she lives with. For some reason I couldn't keep the time line straight and thought it had been longer between the first and second books than mentioned. Her sister certainly recovered from her ordeal quickly, so either the woman didn't really care or the time line was not clearly identified.Definitely a good read. Now on to the short between this book and book 3
