#3 in this series. A very entertaining book. Set in 1914 in London women are campaigning for the vote. War intercedes and main characters in this final book in the series go to many different countries, Willa's adventures take her far afield and she goes where usually women are not allowed. Willa lost her leg in a mountain climbing accident but does not let this deter her. Spies - double agents etc weave a lot into these stories and all come together in the end I enjoyed Ms. Donnelly's first two books of the Rose trilogy so much that I gave The Wild Rose three stars in admiration of their strong characters and story line. The heroine and hero of this third book, Willa and Seamie, were not fired from the same mold and, after reading page after page of Willa's endless "Pity Party" routine, I was worn down to the point of "Who Cares?" Seamie's outlook on the circumstances life handed him wasn't much better. The saving grace of The Tea Rose, for me, was catching up with the characters of the first two novels. They were the ones I wanted to say Hello to again as I watched their lives continue to unfold...those people did not disappoint.
