What did I think? What I got out of this was that these four people are/were greedy back stabbers. Are they smart & creative? Yes. Successful? Yes. This read much like a soap opera of everyone maneuvering for position so it is a quick & entertaining read. That being said, it's too bad that there wasn't a little more writing on the function of Twitter itself. Overall though this was good. Not great, but good. Friendships, passion, betrayal, genius, serendipity and business all come together to portray a tale as engrossing as the addictive social media platform it is about. Nick Bilton shows his class as a master storyteller, and fills the history of the blue bird with anecdotes from several founders, investors and early employees. The best tech book since William Isaacson's "Steve Jobs". Leaves you wondering how the product and company endured the kind of turmoil it did to become the global sensation and the multi-billion dollar company it is today. Provides a more human touch to our favourite micro-blogging site (or whatever you make of the 140 characters).
