Another enjoyable friends to lovers theme from Marie Sexton.I love how the author writes these stories where the characters really get to know each other before they start having sex. Every one of the stories I have read thus far has been beautiful and sweet with a twist of heartaches thrown in.Zach is an adorably clueless man. I really don't know how his video store survived with his level of cluelessness. Angelo was a perfect fit with his snarky, charming personality. This may not have been as passionately intense as the first book in the series, but it certainly holds up well in the heartwrenching aspect. Zach owns a local video in a small town near Denver. Zach started working at the video store when he moved into town with his ex boyfriend. He hasn't had much ambition in life and just kind of settles and that is why his ex has left him. His business is struggling but it works out ok. One day a new landlord Tom comes into town and tells him his rent is going to go up unless they can make other arrangements. Tom and Zach start a relationship, not a relationship so much as Tom uses Zach for sex while he gives him a break on the rent. In the meantime Zach hires Angelo to help him with the video store. Angleo keeps to himself and does his job even though he thinks Zach is cute. As Angelo starts hanging out with Zach he starts to fall for him. This book wasn't as good as the first book but I liked it. I wished for a little more character development but I did like the chemistry between Zach and Angelo. I also liked how Matt and Jared from the first book get introduced into the story. I hope this series continues to be good.
Do You like book Dalla A Alla Z (2013)?
2 and half stars... not a big fan of Angelo's style of voice. but a sweet romance
