An excellent mystery with believable characters and 2 wonderful cats with mysterious magical abilities. One can disappear and the other can walk thru walls. The main character is a librarian who has just moved to Minnesota from Boston. Her library is being renovated and accidents keep happening. One night a pushy obnoxious conductor comes into the library to use the internet. Unfortunately the renovations haven't gotten that far and he has a temper tantrum. The next morning he is found dead at a piano in the theatre down the street. The librarian and the cat's finally figure out what happened and how he died. I am really looking forward to the second in the series. Excellent book and now I will continue reading her series. Just finished book 2 - Sleight of Paw: A Magical Cats Mystery - and waiting for book 3 to be returned to the library. Ms Kelly writes about a librarian working in a Carnegie Library....murder and mystery - holds you till the last few pages!! And her 2 cats that help solve the mysteries in the town! Keep writing, Sofie!! Thanks for the great books!
