This was a fun, quick read. Sophy is much more likeable than Marcelline (the heroine in the first book in this series), and although I didn't really care for Harry all that much, the chemistry between the two was pretty well written. I loved Clara, too - hopefully she'll find her happily ever after in another book! I'm glad I read this one, I almost didn't bother to pick it up after the first, rather underwhelming, book in this series. It’s good that this book was not the first Loretta Chase book I’d ever read or I’d be scratching my head wondering what’s the big deal. Set in London, it’s part of a series about three sister with a mysterious background who may or may not be French who set up a dressmaking shop and are seeking to be the premier modiste, even after one of the sisters marries a nobleman making it unnecessary to work, at least for one of the sisters. I'm repared to suspend judgment occasionally when there’s something there - but the emotional conflict was not deep. The hero seems to want the heroine too quickly. Meh.
Do You like book Caricias De Satén (2013)?
truly the h thinks too much of herself and too less of the hero,,too self absorbed..
