I'm developing a sincere appreciation for this author's ability to make me like her characters, because in the beginning I sometimes don't. Violet is impetuous, determined, spoiled, and passionate. Asher, the Earl of Ardmay is arrogant, ruthless, and equally determined. He doesn't know much about love, but Violet does, at least for her brothers. Asher figures it out in the end and it's a good story overall. Pardon me for saying this but whenever I see the title I always sang in my mind Katy Perry's song "I kissed a girl" and it was like in the tune of that song...I kissed an Earl and I like it...lalalalahahaha. Now for my review, hmmm. The plot is a little bit twisted. And it was finished too quickly with the undying ending of EVERY romance story. "A GUY RUNS TO CATCH HER BECAUSE HE REALIZE HE COULDN'T LIVE WITHOUT HER" WHY?!? Tsk. The realization hits me. What is with all the running? Ha. (sigh) It makes me mad hungry. HA. (sigh)
Do You like book Capitan Selvaggio (2013)?
Such an adventurous read. Strong female lead, stubborn male... Well you know how this story goes.
