About book Capitã Marvel, Vol. 2: O Céu é O Limite! (2000)
This volume of Captain Marvel has me divided about the future of the series. On one hand, the idea of Carol Danvers losing her power of flight has me very interested in how this hero will continue on. Will she pass on "Mar-Vell" to another worthy person, will she regain her flight powers, or will she adapt as a hero? On the other, I REALLY don't like the art style of the second half of this Volume... so much so that I might want to leave this title behind. Hopefully, with "The Enemy Within" coming soon (and that fact that I have read "Infinity" and she did pretty well in that story) Captain Marvel Carol Danvers can continue to show the part-Superhero part-human interest story that I enjoyed so much with Volume 1.Recommend, but with a warning about the art style. Another excellent series of DeConnick stories about the latest incarnation of the Captain. Liked the story arc and the characters, loved the art in the first ish, which is exactly what good superhero art should be. Really didn't like the art in the subsequent issues, which goes to a style that I associate with fantasy art depicting elves in an indistinct, misproportioned and distracting way. So the 4 stars are a tribute to DeConnick's work on this one. I had something similiar to say about the first volume so I'm really hoping that they settle on a good artist style that portrays this character the way that she deserves to be portrayed.

Beautiful artwork, creative and witty dialogue, and a very well defined and interesting character.

You know its a good comic when one of the lines is "I need to go punch a dinosaur." (Amanda)

Absolutely delightful. This story arc is even better than the one from the first volume.

I read as individual issues, but awesome enough that it deserves an entry over here.
