Wrapping up the series and the semester, this short installation gives is a satisfying ending to our look into the lives of Blake and Erin. After staying away from each other for much of the semester Erin and Blake's love for each other hasn't wavered, tested yes but not wavered. There's some old fences to mend for both of our characters and for Erin there's a new personal crisis and it's going to take some old friends to help her. I'm still rooting for Blake and Erin. She's has her own insecurities but as we go along they become more and more understandable and I appreciated her voice. It's not whiny or self pitying - just realistic to the situation that she's in; a poor girl in a Blake's rich world. Blake continues to be a good guy. He's not changed throughout and his love for Erin is front and center. Erin's mom takes a bigger role in this story giving us a bigger glimpse into Erin's past and the way she was raised. I would have really liked to see something similar about Blake also. I would have also liked to see more about Joe and his family and the resolution of their situation. Overall, I would recommend not only this book but the entire series of Beauty. I saw that Warren is offering the 4 books as a package deal.Happy Reading Folks!Rating: B This one brought about a close to the couple in a great way. I loved that while it was hard to do, Blake and Erin put their relationship on hold until the class was done so that it wouldn't be called into question. While it was only 3 weeks, they trusted each other. I hated the family emergency that came up for Erin and that she couldn't get a hold of Blake, but he came through in the end. The ending was perfect, just what I wanted to happen for them.
What a great way to end the series. I really enjoyed this book the most.
