May I please begin by commenting on the gorgeous hunk on the cover...totally drool worthy...want me a piece of that pie...now that I am done obsessing on the man candy, let me get to a great book...completely fell in love with Clint...a soldier who is not only hot but a great guy too...Della is just caught up in bad shit and needs help getting out...I thought their romance was sexually intense and they were so cute together...book was a win-win for me...Skye Warren is a fantastic author and when she writes something new, I jump to read it!!! *4.25* I wasn't sure how I was going to like this because the woman is supposedly the dominant one in bed, and I sure like my alpha male. So I was surprised that I loved this new one from the author and it worked for me. There is light suspense, and there is some grittiness but not too dark. I liked Della and Clint. Clint may give up control between the sheets, but it's because he gets turned on getting bossed around by Della, but make no mistake he can be alpha if he wants to, he's an operator in the U.S. Army after all ... and he did have his badass moments though he *cough* got led around by his dick ... but all ends well ... this is an ideal fast sexy read and has a plot other than sex.
