When you're looking for something that is just sweetly romantic with minimum angst, this would fit that craving perfectly. There is a tiny bit of angst before the two characters, Webber and Tristan, discover their feelings for each other, but that is resolved rather quickly and then you are left to just enjoy the ride of their relationship.Webber Kincaid is exactly the type of sweep-you-off-your-feet with big romantic gestures and presents that we all would like to have sometimes. Between him and the wonderful island settings most of the book takes place in, this book is a great escape from real life and isn't that what we all read romances for? :) As soon as I finished reading this book, I immediately went in search of everything written by this author. It was the first book of Mr. Cade's that I read and I have now finished Foundation of Love as well! I know I will be reading all of his books. I love romantic themes - especially when the characters are so real you feel as though you know them. This is more than a story of an office romance. This is about loving someone from afar but knowing that they are not really available. We've all had that happen - and Mr. Cade makes it so real and so tender. To say much more would spoil a wonderful story -- so I leave it to you to simply enjoy this book, the romance and a story well told! Bravo Scotty Cade!
