A Husband who lost his wife. 3 children who need to be taken care of. A single woman who is for reasons you'll read in the book needs to be somewhere else. She longs for family, he longs for a woman who will take care of his children. They both come together, vows are taken, and they both live up to their roles. But.. he is tender, not wanting to make her feel uncomfortable. She stays in her own room until things between them become better and more comfortable. It's a sweet love story, and there are couple moments where I got all teary eyed. A very good book. This book started out a lot like typical mail order bride books. Abby, the heroine was easy to like and much of the story is told through her eyes. But when tragedy strikes, we do not hear much from her. We see her through her husband's point of view. And we never get his feeling of grief. It was a good story, but it could have been way up there if the author would have delved more into the emotions of the h/h during the tragedy.
Do You like book Abby: Mail Order Bride (2012)?
Story had potential, but character development was poor. it was 100 pages.
