About book Amulet, Vol. 3: The Cloud Searchers (2010)
3.5/5 starsI wonder what's gonna go down next... ^.^ (Spoilers if you haven't read it.)Some thoughts: - WHAT HAPPENED TO MISKIT AND COGSLEY AFTER THEY'VE BEEN TAKEN? I hope they'll appear in the next volume. *crosses fingers* - As much as I want to, I can't help but doubt Leon a little. Emily's mother brought up how foxes are tricksters and I'm not sure if these two things will eventually related, but to me, it just seemed a little off how he was so sure that they'll be able to find Cielis. I mean, yes, they had Silas's journal, but still... Or maybe it could be just a throwaway that the author put in. - Lugar: when he regains his memories, what will they do with him? Don't think they can trust him then... On a different note, I like where this story is going. I'm interested to find out how it all plays out with the whole council selection. :D I really like where this series is going. There's continuity throughout the stories, and new developments arise in each volume that keep things moving. A nice read-alike for fans of epic adventures. This book had less focus on the characters and was fairly short, compared to the other two volumes, but it was a nice respite from some of the heavier stuff. This one leaves things at a bit of a crossroads, but not an unwelcome one.
