To be honest I was quite disappointed that 'Now' wasn't set in the same timeframe as the previous two books of the series. Whilst it didn't have too much to do with WW2, it was still a good easy read told through the entertaining voice of the grandaughter of Felix. I also think it is very clever and special that Gleitzman incorporated the Australian bushfires in Victoria 2009 into this book; he is a very talented author This is the first book in the series that I was able to read in one sitting. I was surprised to see the jump in time. But it was nice to still have similar narration. Felix was wonderful, and so was the "new" Zelda. The story is an important one to tell, but it is a big jump from what I expected. I liked the story, but I loved the earlier story more. I would still recommend the series, but I guess I just liked the first two stories so much more.
Its a very interesting story of the grown up Felix that's already someone's grandpa.
